For site management we use Google Analytics to collect and create summary statistics on the following information for statistical purposes:

Google Analytics stores four cookies on your computer to help with this tracking;

  1. _utma - kept for 730 days  
  2. _utmb - kept for 1 day
  3. _utmc - kept for browser session only
  4. _utmz - kept for 182 days

Each of these cookies contains a randomly generated number which is used to track the following:

  • the date and time
  • the originating Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • the object requested (page, image etc)
  • the address of the web site from which you linked to our site
  • the type of browser you use to access our web site (including operating system, screen resolution used)
  • the completion status of the request

Information collected is anonymous and there is no way Regent's College London or Google can indentify individual visitors to our sites.
