Awards for Languages at EBS

The Department of Languages and Cross-cultural Studies in the Business and Management Faculty has been the recipient of many awards for its excellence in languages.

In 2008 the department was awarded the Threlford Memorial Cup, awarded annually by the renowned Chartered Institute of Linguists for “fostering the study of languages”.

Other awards include:

  • The Regional and National winners of the Languages for Export award 2001-2002, based on the curriculum followed by the final year students in different languages.
  • The 2001 prestigious National Languages for Export Award.

EBS London has also been nominated the national centre for the French Chamber of Commerce & Spanish Chamber of Commerce Language Qualifications since 1999.
